Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with Belmont Bed and Breakfast.

When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated. We accept the following forms of payment: cash, cheque with bankers card, debit cards, credit cards.

Pets are not permitted.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
All cars are parked at owners risk

Bookings, Cancellation and Insurance:
We accept a credit or debit card at the time of booking as security to guarantee your reservation.

We take full payment on outstanding balances two days before your check-in date using the card details left at the time of booking. If you wish to pay with another card or cash on arrival please let us know asap.

Once you have booked your stay our agreement is a legal contract but if you need to cancel please contact us immediately on 01751 476931

Cancellation up to 2 days before check-in
Bookings can be cancelled up to 2 days before check-in free of charge.

Cancellation within 2 days of check-in
Bookings cancelled within 2 days of check-in will be charged the full amount.

No-show Bookings
If you fail to take up the booking without informing us we will charge for the full amount of the stay.

For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.

Special Offers:
Please see our website for any special offers and discounts we offer. At times our online partner channels may offer special discounts and deals. These online deals are between you, the customer, and the channel making the offer. When booked through the online channel we will honour these deals but they are not transferable to any offers we may have on our own website.

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.  We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you.  Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

We serve breakfast between 8am and 9am. This ensures time to vacate your room by 10am enabling us to prepare the room for the next visitors. We can accommodate an earlier breakfast – please ask at time of arrival.
We do not allow take-away meals in the rooms but you are welcome to eat them in the downstairs dining room where we can set up a table and cutlery for you.

Your accommodation is available to you from 3 pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged.  Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 8 pm.

Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.

Damages and Breakages:
Please take care with our accommodation.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.  Please report these as soon as they occur.  We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant or we have to replace the item.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Data and Privacy
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer but will not be used by us for any other purpose than your stay and to enable us to meet any legal requirements. Your information will not be sold or distributed to any third party by us. Please check the policies of the companies you book with as their policy may differ to ours.
